VIA VITAE 03:50
Quo tempore transperito eo vitae lucis salutem infitias it.

Desertification Text: Alexander, Stefanie, André Musikalische Idee: Alexander Our globe warms day by day We support the industry Education must delay All this progress means decay In this vast drought land I drag myself in burning sand Among the dunes I´m all alone Waiting for the fi nal death I see a fruitful tree A mirage I know is cheating me Hoping for the end Of this self-made punishment
4.
The great Fairyland Text: Stefanie Musikalische Idee: Stefanie In the wideness of dreary wasteland Distant from bomb-shattered huts A litte boy walked towards the dark sky With his sweet sister holding his hand All the child had was his brotherly love And his life, overshadowed with pain And while he moved on towards a Fairyland He cried out and released his complaint: War has damaged our world All for their greed for money and might and power Searching for hope, for a sense We set out for the great Fairyland! Once when his parents still were alive They told him a story for hope: After our life on this earth we will go To a village behind the dark clouds There is a friendly, great Fairyland Where everybody is glad Smiling warm like the sun We will live there hand in hand War has damaged our world All for their greed for money and might and power Searching for hope, for a sense We set out for the great Fairyland Let us flee together, peacefully Let us escape from this world of war! Life is giving death and death gives life Oh death, please set me free!

Strafplanet Erde Text: Stefanie, André, Alexander Musikalische Idee: Alexander Earth is our penal colony Here live the weak, natural born Such as we are Doomed to work for the upper class Together with cruel Criminal folks Sunt damnati stella eniti Damaged earth The imprisoned we are We are poor, Natural born, drags of humanity Stinking rich society escaped to other planets Affluence society in a synthetic world Ruined nature – poisoned and smashed We have to wear oxygen masks No natural life in that world Perfection has turned A burden to us God does not exist in that world The people theirselves Pretend to be god

IRA 04:36
Ira Text: Adrian Musikalische Idee: Alexander Deconstructing all desires By drowning them alive Ain´t the world too vague a place A mere daze within to thrive ... Images of wrath and ire Mankind set the world on fi re Blooms of thoughtfulness Forgotten on the floor Too much to set out for But little to give you, too much less Images of wrath and ire Screams and mayhem, mass hysteria Astray in fragments of nocturnal area Mankind set the world on fire!

Beautiful world Text: Stefanie, Alexander, André Musikalische Idee: André Sun goes down, it is getting colder Wind is sweet with toxic rain Moisture soaks her dress and skin Looking for a shelter in vain With her older brother she is wandering through the ruins of the town Cold and hungry they need a place To stay the night, to sit down On the stony ground of an empty house They rest squatting close together Soon the boy falls asleep... But the girl ist still awake, and her eyes Suddenly catch sight of an old TV It alights emotions... Memories... Please do not cry! Her brother whispers in her ear Tomorrow we will find a better place After dawn, when sun is rising... Looking for the promised Fairyland

Doomed to die Text: Stefanie, André Musikalische Idee: André You can never win Death is coming soon Here is the result Of your indolence No birds in the sky Only rotten trees Open your eyes and see You are doomed to die You can not deny You are doomed to die.

about

SEPULCRETUM is typical AAVAS-Sound, presented via a powerful metal-production by Andy Classen (Graveworm, Belphegor), thus underlining the aspects of aggression, brutality and coldness in AAVAS-Sound. Still, such characteristics as complexity, crossing over, (holy) intertextuality and dynamic arrangement are by no means given up.

AAVAS-Sound ranges between Gothic-Metal and Progressive, breathing the spirit of Krautrock, uniting cold, wailing chants and melancholic violins with lush lead guitars, heavy riffs and aggressive growl and some well-directed play with disharmonic tones.

Our lyrics describe mainly dark future scenarios. On the one hand there are images of a spoilt and ruined world. On the other hand there are spots of light, forming the vision of a dreamworld - Utopia. These contrasts are supported by the varying characteristics of the music.
